ARTIST and author Heather Murray Tobias is the featured artist in ‘A Retrospective Exhibition’ which opened at the ArtSpace Gallery in Wonthaggi’s Centennial Centre on Wednesday, September 28 running through the Sunday, October 30.
The official opening is on Sunday, October 2 between 1pm-3pm.
After a childhood immersed in art, singing, dancing, and theatre and an adulthood enriched by Hungarian culture, the exhibition ‘A Life in the Art’ by Heather Murray Tobias has enjoyed plenty of inspiration.
“ArtSpace Gallery is very pleased and proud to present a very talented painter and author, the wonderful and irrepressible Heather Tobias,” said ArtSpace Curator, Ursula Theinert.
“Her artwork developed using the Meldrum Method of Tonal Realism. Her paintings exude soft edges, rich colours and deep moods enveloping us in the warmth of nostalgia.
“As a writer Heather also reveals love and endurance as sensitive journeys and experiences. Her exhibition is a must see,” she said.

ArtSpace Gallery is open seven days-a-week from 11pm-3pm.
