Amy’s at 22.33km of her 30km super swim challenge

SUPER Swim Hero Amy Hodson is on track to reach her goal; swimming everyday since February 4 in a challenge to swim 30km in February and to raise funds for the Starlight Childrens Foundation.

The Starlight Foundation shared that by sponsoring Amy during her Super Swim challenge your brightening the lives of sick kids in hospital.

Amy’s Mum Robyn Hodson said Amy’s goal was to swim 30km for the month, and this morning she reached 22.33kms and is on track to reach her goal.

Amy’s fundraising challenge finishes next Thursday, February 29. She has swum the kms at the YMCA for squad training and completed further swims, including school swimming, swimming meets across Gippsland (Moe, Warragul, Sale) and in her own pool at home.

With an initial goal to raise $2,000, Amy’s fundraiser is currently sitting at $5,600.

“This year she has been fortunate in receiving corporate donations,” said Robyn.
