Cash for containers starts this Wednesday

Will Hams and the crew at Can Collect, an operating partner in the State Government’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS), for the Wonthaggi and Phillip Island area are all set at their depots in Wonthaggi and Cowes for the start of the program kick off on Wednesday, November 1.

The Can Collect centre is ready to receive your cans and bottles at Wonthaggi and Cowes. VICTORIA’S container deposit scheme, ‘CDS Vic’, is set to kick off on Wednesday, November 1 and both Bass Coast and South Gippsland will be fully participating in the can and bottle return program from day one.
