MEENIYAN will have its turn hosting the Art Cubes in town for three months from February 2, 2024.
Local artists are invited to apply for a two or four week residency in one of the cubes during this period.
The Art Cubes are an initiative of South Gippsland Shire Council and Meeniyan Progress Association are proud to accept their invitation to host the cubes for this period.
The proposed location is alongside the Great Southern Rail Trail on Tompkins Road.
Artists who would like to showcase their work in one of the cubes will need to submit an expression of interest (EOI) that explains what they would like to exhibit, their connection to Meeniyan and the surrounding area in addition to the other selection criteria defined in the EOI document.
Successful artists will be eligible for a payment of up to $150 per week, per cube to assist with their residency, dependent on the scope of the project.
Expressions of interest close on Friday, December 8.
Email applications or questions to artcubes@meeniyan.org.au.
