Pipeline works will commence in the coming weeks which will see the bridge reduced to one lane on rare occasions at night.

WESTERNPORT Water is upgrading the main drinking water and sewage infrastructure connected to the underside of the San Remo – Phillip Island Bridge.

Work will commence on the $5.5 million San Remo Bridge Pipeline Bracket Renewal Project in mid-November, and will be completed by October 2024 (excluding peak periods throughout December and early January).
