HAVING chosen to bat first on opposition turf, Nerrena set a strong 2/248, Leongatha Town making a solid reply but falling 27 runs short when bowled out for 221, Thomas Cameron’s unbeaten score of 101 laying the foundation for the Red Caps’ victory.

The Nerrena skipper scored at just over a run a ball, striking seven boundaries and five sixes.
