WONTHAGGI Fire Brigade, paramedics and police are currently on the scene of a fire in Wonthaggi Wetlands at the end of Poplar Street where a column of smoke can be seen rising through the trees. 

Vehicles are advised to avoid the area with some emergency vehicles blocking roads.
