THE Korumburra Golf Club isn’t the only organisation to be postponing events this weekend as a result of the unseasonably cold, winter-style blast.
The San Remo Channel Challenge was the first shoe to fall, now the Korumburra Golf Club’s annual hole-in-one event, scheduled for tonight, Friday, February 3 has also been pulled.
It’s not what they had in mind for a fun competition on a balmy summer night, sharing a few drinks and a barbecue with friends on the deck while people lined up to take a shot at the $500 prize.
“Due to the horrible weather today, the hole-in-one competition at the Korumburra Golf Club has been postponed,” said club officials this afternoon.
“We are looking at either next Friday, February 10 or March 3.
“As soon as the date is decided on, we will send out an update. Please spread the word and share with friends and family. We are very sorry however we want you all to experience this fun event with nicer weather.”
