BirdLife Australia are running a beach-nesting birds awareness raising event on Friday 22nd December at the mouth of the Powlett River from 10am onwards as part of the Powlett River Kugerungmome Partnerships project.

Come along and learn all about the sweet little Hooded Plovers, their fascinating behavior, and how you can help protect threatened species of wildlife through simple actions.
