SES, tow trucks and building contractors are on the scene of a car crash at the Bass Coast Shire Council officers in Wonthaggi this morning.
At about 9.30am on Monday morning, January 15, an elderly woman driver has crashed into the front reception area of the shire offices in Wonthaggi, taking out one of the pillar at the front of the building.
The car has not crashed into the office windows.
The customer service centre at the shire has been closed while necessary works are carried out.
The woman was shaken but uninjured in the mishap, and walked away from the crash.
