THE Port Welshpool Working Group is staging the 2025 Seadays Festival on January 4 and 5.
This festival is held at the Old Ferry Terminal on Lewis Street, Port Welshpool, open from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The Seadays Festival has activities and displays to appeal to all members of the family.
The ‘Come Try Fishing’ will give children (five to 15 years old) the chance to catch a fish under the guidance of experienced volunteers.
All bait and rods are supplied, and all children receive a rod and reel at the conclusion of the session.
Numbers per session are limited to 15.
Sessions will run from 10am and 2pm each day.

A $2 booking fee applies to help with costs.
The Black Snake Productions will have some cute critters to see up close, and even give a pat or a cuddle.

Marine experts and divers will have the touch tanks with some examples of marine life found in the local waters of Corner Inlet.
They will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the specimens that they have found.
There will be plenty of children’s activities to choose from, whether it is the Welshpool Horticultural Society, Coast Care (DEECA), or MiLi libraries Welshpool/Foster, to keep the children engaged.
Educational displays from Victorian Fishing Authority, Prom Coast Eco-Link, Star of the South (Southerly Ten) along with the latest developments with E-Bikes – in conjunction with the Great Southern Rail Trail – and sea kayaks.
