1 min read

THE South Gippsland District Scouts ARAP (Annual Report and Presentation) event was held earlier this month at the historic Wonthaggi State Coal Mine. The gathering, which drew an impressive turnout from local youth members, leaders, and their families, was a vibrant celebration of the district’s achievements and the accomplishments of its young members.

Many of the district’s youth members took on leadership roles in organising and running parts of the event, with the support of district leaders, who were on hand to present awards across various sections, recognising both individual and group achievements.

The event featured highlights from Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers, who shared their personal stories and celebrated their achievements. Among the standout achievements were many youths achieving the prestigious Grey Wolf Award and the Australian Scout Award, as well as participation in a diverse array of camps, programs and community activities.
