RESIDENTS of The Gurdies and St Heliers can return home this afternoon with Gurdies-St Helier Road reopened to residents only.
This advice has been confirmed by the CFA Divisional Commander Dave Breadmore at 4.30pm.
It must be stressed the roads are reopen to residents only. Police are on duty at the intersection to Bass Highway. Residents returning must still ensure they keep up to date with VicEmergency notifications as conditions can change without warning.
