LOOKING for unforgettable adventures this winter school holiday? Myli – My Community Library is excited to offer a diverse range of engaging events for children of all ages with over 70 events running at our libraries in Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Cardinia Shire and South Gippsland. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on offer:

Bass Coast libraries are set to thrill with a variety of unique and interactive activities. Children can dive into the world of drama with our Drama Sports sessions, get creative with Comic Creations and Paper Plane Mania, and embark on imaginative journeys in the Here Be Dragons workshops. The Whale Festival events at Phillip Island Library promise to be a highlight, along with the hands-on fun of Planks and Dress Up Paper Dolls. A special Storytime will feature the beloved character Grug, and special guest South Dudley Tom will lead musical sessions perfect for family fun. Additionally, Wonthaggi Library will host the exciting book launch of “Cactus Pooptus” by children’s author Louise B Braumann.

In South Gippsland, children can look forward to activities such as Fluffy Slime, Dream Catchers, Planks, Foil Art, Dioramas, miniature art Canvas Creations and more! Painting with Nature will be offered in collaboration with Manna Gum Community House, providing a unique opportunity for kids to explore art in the natural world. These events are designed to spark creativity and provide fun, hands-on experiences for all attendees.

Meanwhile, Baw Baw and Cardinia Shire libraries will host an equally impressive lineup of activities. Registration for our free school holiday events opened on Monday June 17 at 5 pm. Visit myli.au/july2024 to register.
