Public praised after 53-year-old arrested for thefts in Wonthaggi

BASS Coast Police from the Wonthaggi Police Station arrested a 53-year-old male after two thefts in Wonthaggi in recent days.

Earlier today (August 21, 2024), just after 3.30pm, police located the male at a commercial premises in Biggs Drive, Wonthaggi. It is alleged that at this location the male had stolen an item.

It is also alleged yesterday (August 20) the male stole an item from a commercial premises in Murray Street, Wonthaggi.

The male has been bailed to appear at the Korumburra Magistrates’ Court on September 30, 2024.
