POLICE are investigating a robbery last night at 6.50pm in Coleman Park, Korumburra.
It’s understood two male victims (a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old) were assaulted by six offenders, who proceeded to steal their money, shoes and clothing. One of the victims was taken to Wonthaggi Hospital with superficial injuries from the assault.
A second individual (a 16-year-old) is being treated at the Royal Children's Hospital awaiting surgery after being run over during the incident, which is reported to have started initially from threats made by the victims to the offenders.
Investigations are ongoing.
