Auskick is for everyone!

GIRLS came to Leongatha on Sunday from all over South Gippsland to develop their skills and their love for footy at the AFL All Girls Footy4Fun event.
Over two Sundays, girls have worked on a range of skills in a fun and supportive environment with the expertise of coaches Mackenzie Findlay and Lisa Guastella.
They’ve practiced their handballing, got “stuck in the mud”, and finessed their drop punts. There’s even been the odd torpedo.
For South Gippsland girls wanting to hone their skills and have some fun, the AFL is kicking off a 5-week All Girls Auskick Program at Imperials Cricket Club in Leongatha.
It starts this Friday 10th March and sessions run 4:30-5:30. The registration fee is discounted off the participants’ local NAB AFL Auskick Season.
For Auskickers of all genders, Leongatha’s NAB AFL Auskick season is open now for registrations.
Sessions run on Friday nights 5:00pm - 6:00pm from 28th April throughout term 2.
Leongatha’s Friday night Auskick is a community event and a great way to have some fun with other families.
Tea for the kids is sorted as Leongatha Auskickers get a free sausage in bread, and there’s a canteen open with a range of food on offer.
Families get on the field together, celebrating those footy firsts with their Auskickers.
It’s super easy to help out, even if you’re not familiar with footy. Parents can come and have a kick or help out in the canteen or with the barbie.
NAB AFL Auskick is the best way to introduce kids to the great game of Aussie Rules football. It’s all about fun, getting hands on the ball and being constantly involved in exciting activities.
To register for the All Girls Auskick Program or for the Leongatha NAB AFL Auskick season, visit playhq.com and search Leongatha, or contact Gen Anderson 0424 964 335.
