Currently the Poowong Loch Cricket Club is in recess due to lack of players.
The club has a full working committee and is in a sound financial position.
But they lack the required number of players to take the field.
An open meeting will be held on Monday April 3, at 7.30pm at the Loch memorial reserve to openly discuss the current position of the club and what that future may be.
Everyone is welcome to come along and have your say, keeping in mind, ‘words can only do so much, but action is what is important.’
It is proposed to discuss senior cricket and the possible formation of a junior team.
So please keep the conversation going and come to the meeting, ready to join with others to keep the club going with senior and/or junior grades.
At the end of the meeting a date will be set for an AGM. For enquiries, please contact club president Peter Miller 0409 592 211.
