NEWHAVEN College is thrilled to announce its annual VCE Art and Design Exhibition for 2024, a celebration of creativity and innovation, currently on display in the College’s Performing Arts Wing foyer. The exhibition showcases the exceptional achievements of the College’s talented VCE students, who have worked diligently throughout the year to produce an impressive array of works in a variety of media.
The exhibition highlights the outstanding Unit 3 and 4 works from the following subjects:
- Art Making and Exhibiting
- Visual Communication Design
- Media
- Product Design and Technologies
- Systems Engineering
This year’s exhibition is a true reflection of the students' dedication, creativity and hard work. Each piece tells a unique story, demonstrating the range of artistic, technical and design skills honed by students during their VCE journey. From intricate design concepts to thought-provoking art and media projects, the display offers something for everyone to enjoy.
The proceedings were presented by Visual Art Captains Chloe Harris and Pip Thompson-Lord. Art teacher Rebecca Power announced the prizes awarded to Issey Goss for ‘Best in Show’ and Claire Miron for her hard-working and committed attitude. There was no doubt these two students represented all of the outstanding talent in the VCE cohort.
