Summary:
Blackwoods Readymixed is expanding its operations to a new location at Geary Rd, Leongatha (Formerly Numix), and is seeking Concrete Agitator Drivers to join the team and support the growth of the business in the South Gippsland Shire.
Skills and experience:
• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence is required;
• Training provided if required;
• Possess a clean driving record;
• Willing to undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol testing;
• Experience with Road Ranger gearboxes is desirable, not essential;
• Concrete Industry experience preferred;
• White Card (or willing to obtain successfully);
• Willingness to acquire new skills
Key responsibilities & duties:
• Safe and efficient delivery of concrete to sites;
• Manage slump tolerance levels and discharge of concrete;
• Complete documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete;
• Safe loading and unloading of truck;
• Ensure safety standards are maintained including daily pre-start checks on the vehicle;
• Safe operation, routine maintenance and a high standard of cleaning vehicle/s (internal and external);
• Develop and maintain strong domestic and commercial customer relationships;
• General plant and yard maintenance;
• Other tasks as directed by your Manager
