I AM writing to express my disgust at the relentless attack on the former South Gippsland Shire Mayor and present councillor Clare Williams and her family, in the newspaper, The South Gippsland Voices.

Editor, Mr Don Hill, a former councillor and member of the dismissed council and unsuccessful candidate for the present council, attacks Cr Williams with vicious and snide remarks in almost every edition of his paper.

Councillor Williams, a young woman, with a family, has shown great courage, to stand for council to represent our community (a job not many people are prepared to do) and in my opinion, has done it so well.

Councillor Williams does not deserve the rubbish written by Mr Hill.
