I READ the article “John Kennedy initiative to benefit old and young” in the December 3 edition of the Sentinel Times with great heart following the earlier story about vandalism in Korumburra. 

I believe Mr Kennedy’s suggested initiative is an elegant solution to a few problems facing Korumburra residents and the SGSC and is an example of how, by getting people together and considering the background of problems, real solutions can be found and progress made. 

I commend Mr Kennedy’s thinking and actions and hope we see more of his thinking applied to other issues council is facing. He seems to be a wonderful addition to our group of councillors.
