SAN Remo Primary School is celebrating 150 years this year. Throughout the year the students and educators have been celebrating their 150-year anniversary in many different ways, through history of the area in classrooms, art works and a family bush dance at the end of term three.
On Saturday, November 16 from 12 noon to 4pm San Remo Primary School will be holding an open school day where past families, students and teachers will be invited to come and enjoy the fun of the day.
Classrooms will be open, there will be an Art Show displaying the current students work, a display of historical photos and video, old fashioned games for everyone and the school band will be playing. To cater for everyone on the day there will be a BBQ run by School Council, merchandise available for purchase and tea/coffee and cake.
There is even a big surprise on the day - but don’t tell anyone!
Principal Karen Bowker said, “our school is appealing to all families that may have any historical photos or memorabilia to contact the school as we would love to take a copy to display or would love to have for the day and returned back to you.” Please contact the office if you have any questions or memorabilia on 5678 5354.
