Korumburra Golf Club to stage Masters Breakfast

1 min read

“SINCE 1934, amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport...”

So says the Masters’ website ahead of the 2024 US Masters which starts at the spiritual home of golf, Augusta National, on Thursday, April 11.

Who could forget…

* The drama at the 12th, arguably the most famous par 3 in golf, a mere matter of 155 yards over Rae’s Creek?

* And the 465-yard par 4 18th where Greg Norman famously missed a 12-foot putt in the 1989 Masters after roaring into contention with birdies on 9, 10, 13, 15, 16 and 17 in the final round.

* And Adam Scott’s 12-footer for birdie on the second play-off hole, the 10th, to win Australia’s first Green jacket.

It’s an event that builds tension right through to the last day on Monday, Australian time, and the Korumburra Golf Club is going to tap into that by staging a Masters’ Breakfast on the morning of Monday, April 11 – starting early!
