The Preston Motorcycle Club has had a long and colourful history and association with the Island circuit and is looking to develop the Australia Day long weekend racing program into a successful and popular annual event. The exciting return of three wheeled sidecars being wrestled around the best racing circuit in the world by driver and passenger will delight spectators. The Roaring Sporties class will feature a festival of noise for the ears as 30 Harley Davidsons blast off the grid went the lights go out. With Australian and World Superbike Championship meetings scheduled in the next month the word on the street is a number of riders will turn up to take advantage of extra on track testing sessions.

Plus, the Club are thrilled to welcome back the Formula Sport and Limited Sport classes with a few tweaks to keep things exciting! A Junior Moto3 class will run within the Supersport 300 events, while Limited Sport now includes Formula 400cc and Supermono bikes over 500cc.
