THE CWA Wonthaggi Owl Women are holding a Mother's Day stall on Saturday, May 10, at the Wonthaggi Plaza (outside Kmart) from 9 am to 1 pm or until sold out.
Brand president Heidi Vanzet said all proceeds from the stall will go directly to support the Wonthaggi Owl Ute Community Pantry, which provides essential food, toiletries, and household items to local families, pensioners, individuals experiencing hardship, and members of the homeless community.
“Every cake, craft, and handmade good sold will help us continue this vital work.”
The mobile community pantry is open to donations, including non-perishable items that can be dropped off in the Woolworths trolley, near the self-serve checkout, and fresh foods are welcome for donation at pantry sessions.
The mobile pantry will be at the Cheap as Chips carpark on Mondays from 9:30 am until 11:00 am and on Wednesdays from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Wonthaggi RSL Hall.
