GIPPSLAND Veterinary Group are set to open the doors to their new Grantville clinic on Wednesday, November 20, extending their care for companion animals in the region, addressing the growing need for accessible veterinary services.
The clinic will offer a range of services, beginning with consultations for both new and existing patients. With a commitment to high-quality care, Director and Senior Veterinarian Belinda Herrald shared that the Grantville clinic will focus on general health care, with surgical procedures and hospitalisation referred to Gippsland Veterinary Group’s Wonthaggi and Newhaven clinics.
“The new clinic in Grantville will meet the demand of those pet owners that previously had to travel to Wonthaggi or Newhaven for consultations and vaccinations,” said Belinda.
“This clinic is closer for those living in Lang Lang, Nyora, Grantville and surrounding towns.”
This central location provides both convenience and peace of mind in case of an emergency.
Understanding that veterinary care can sometimes come with an unexpected expense, Gippsland Veterinary Group offers a range of financial aid options, including Afterpay and VetPay.
“For the owners that have pet insurance, we’ll soon have a new service available that allows payment of the gap only, meaning that the insurance payment will be made directly to the clinic. Previously owners had to pay in full and then make a claim for reimbursement,” said Belinda.
Existing clients may be able to request their regular vets, as the Grantville staff will be from the other Gippsland Veterinary Group clinics. The Grantville clinic will also manage prescriptions for those on regular medications, as well as stock premium pet food and parasite treatments to ensure the health of your pet long term.
For more information about the services and financial aid options, or to schedule a health check, pet owners are encouraged to contact the clinic directly during opening hours on 5672 1060.
The Gippsland Veterinary Group Grantville clinic will be open Monday to Friday, 8.30am till 5.30pm, or for an afterhours emergency, call 5630 8050.
