Escape the heat and head to a world of fun at Magilla’s

2 min read

THE WHOLE family can enjoy wholesome fun, all year round, right in the heart of South Gippsland at Magilla’s Play Centre and Korumburra Indoor Mini Golf, which also boasts a golf simulator for those more serious players.

The little ones can explore the fun, colourful, safe play space that has a large obstacle course complete with flying fox, winding slides, tunnels, ladders, a rock-climbing wall and soft-landing mats.

An enclosed baby play area with toys and dolls allows parents to relax and energetic toddlers can cruise around on toy tractors, cars, bikes and trikes.

A party room can be booked for up to 20 kids and the onsite café provides the ultimate variety of hot and cold party food.

Parents only need to bring along the cake and for themed celebrations, the decorations.

Tables and chairs in the café allow parents to relax or socialise over a barista-brewed cup of coffee.

Right next door is the indoor mini golf centre, with two themed nine-hole mini golf courses and a golf simulator that provides a warm, dry place for older kids and adults to have a social hit or to tee off from around the world.

Entering through a rocky mine shaft, a glow-in-the-dark, deep underwater-themed nine-hole course emerges.

Sea creatures glow from the deep sea walls while others float above the course, the skeleton of a sailor watches from a boat, and glow-in-the-dark carpet and mooring ropes mesmerise and add a surreal, spooky and fantastical experience to the game of golf.

The next nine holes are adorned with an Australiana theme, featuring gumtrees, crocodiles, kangaroos, a large python; and antique objects with a story to tell from old Australia.

This course is one to challenge mini-golf champions and players both young and old will need to bring their A game to complete the course under par.

While the golf simulator offers the opportunity for golfers to have a swing, work on their game or even experience playing on a world-renowned course.

These indoor courses offer a fun, quirky and social activity with something for everyone and provide a good day or night out for families, couples or singles, and for group or corporate events.

It’s also a great low-impact activity for the older crew, with an 80 and 85-year-old married couple recently reigniting their competitive spirits while playing a round together.

Set in a great centralised location in South Gippsland, Magilla’s Play Centre and Mini Golf is less than an hour’s drive from most local townships and a great time out for families and friends, with all abilities access and plenty of parking available.
