The driver of the truck has been extricated as emergency services now work to remove the truck from down the embankment.

GRAND Ridge Road is closed to traffic as emergency services work to clear the scene of a truck accident near the corner of Grand Ridge Road and Warragul-Leongatha Road near Seaview/Ellinbank.

It’s believed the flatbed truck left the road and went down an embankment around 2.30pm.

The driver has since been extricated from the vehicle.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternative roads.
