Indoor Mini Golf Centre in Korumburra

2 min read

SOUTH Gippsland’s premier indoor mini golf centre boasting two themed nine-hole mini golf courses and a golf simulator offers endless fun for everyone in Korumburra and the surrounding area.

The centre is an extension on Magilla’s Play Centre and provides a warm, dry place for older kids and adults to have a social hit and some wholesome fun.

Entering into the first nine-hole course through a rocky mine shaft entrance, a deep underwater theme emerges.

In the dark oceanic depths, a large octopus and big colourful fish radiate out from the walls and jellyfish and a shark float above.

Glow in the dark carpet is mesmerising and golf balls are guided around the course by glowing mooring ropes.

The skeleton of a glowing sailor watches on from a boat, adding a surreal, spooky and fantastical experience to this game of golf.

An Australiana-themed course greets players for the next round of nine holes.

It features gumtrees, crocodiles, kangaroos, a large python; and antique objects with a story to tell from old Australia adorn the walls.

This course is one to challenge mini-golf champions and golfers both young and old will need to bring their A-game to complete the course under par.

Don’t expect to be able to do it on the first attempt.

For serious golfers or those wanting to improve their game or to experience playing on a world-renowned course, a golf simulator offers this very opportunity.

So, bring those clubs down, polish up the swing and virtually tee off.

Korumburra Mini Golf offers a fun, quirky and social activity that has something for everyone and provides a good day or night out for families, couples or singles, and for group or corporate events.

It’s also a great low-impact activity for the older crew, with an 80 and 85-year-old married couple recently reigniting their competitive spirits while playing a round together.

The very young ones can also have some fun of their own, next door at Magilla’s Play Centre.

Magilla’s Play Centre is an indoor space that boasts a children’s obstacle course with flying fox, winding slides, tunnels, ladders, a rock-climbing wall and soft-landing mats.

A party room, babies’ play area, toy tractors, cars, bikes and trikes together with toys and dolls, and a café, with tables and chairs for parents. The play centre provides a colourful, safe and fun space for young children to play and parents to relax or socialise.

Magilla’s Play Centre and Korumburra Mini Golf is an enjoyable 15 minute drive from Inverloch, 25 minute drive from Wonthaggi and one hour from Phillip Island.
