POLICE will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman in San Remo this morning.
Emergency services were called to a beach off Punch Bowl Road about 8.30am on April 18 after reports two women and a man had been washed off rocks and were in the water.
One of the women managed to make her way back to shore but the other woman and the man were unable to.
A search of the water was conducted with the Air Wing locating an unresponsive woman in the water.
She was brought back to shore but could not be revived.
The search for the man continues with three helicopters (Westpac Rescue, Police Airwing and Ambulance Victoria), two jet skis and multiple boats scanning the coast around Punch Bowl Road and emergency services including police, SES, Fisheries and Woolamai Beach SLSC.
An incident command arrived on scene at midday.
At about 12.45pm four police divers joined the search, ferried to the scene in a Parks Victoria boat out of San Remo.
