SOUTH Gippsland Highway is closed near Falls Road between Stony Creek and Foster as emergency services arrive on scene to clear a truck rollover.
The incident occurred around 11am with paramedics, fire brigade and police attending the scene.
It's believed the male driver in his 60s is conscious with cuts and scratches. Two members of the public first on the scene, kicked the glass windscreen in to help free the driver.
Police are advising drivers to use alternative routes and to drive with care in the area.
The Department of Transport and Planning have advised motorists to 'consider detouring via Meeniyan-Promontory Road and Fish Creek-Foster Road through the towns of Buffalo and Fish Creek to avoid the closure. This detour is approximately 30km long and will add significant journey time.'
