OMK and Phillip Island are playing out one of the most tense LDCA cricket grand finals in years at the Butch West Oval in Wonthaggi.
It’s one of those finals’ matches when you don’t dare move from the seat you are sitting in.
Closing in on Phillip Island’s modest total of all out for 171 scored on Saturday, OMK looked in charge at various moments in the chase on Sunday, only for a wicket to give Phillip Island the momentum.
But while OMK captain Koby Brann was at one end, OMK always looked the most likely.
First with Paul Fermanis 8 and then OMK stalwart Peter Dell 11, Koby added precious runs to have OMK on the cusp.
What’s going to happen? In just an over or two we’ll know – will it be OMK or Phillip Island again.
